    Qualified Account Scaling & Growth

How a simulated account size may increase over time when consistent performance and program rules are maintained.

    What a Scaling Plan Is

A scaling plan is a structured way for a Qualified Account's virtual balance to increase over time as a participant maintains consistent performance and follows the program rules. Scaling is typically reviewed at defined intervals, such as after a number of payout cycles or once specific performance milestones are reached.

    How Scaling Typically Works

Most scaling plans require the participant to remain within the program's drawdown rules, reach a minimum profit threshold over a defined period, and avoid breaching consistency rules. When the conditions are met, the Qualified Account's virtual balance may increase by a defined percentage, subject to program limits.

    Common Scaling Conditions

Scaling conditions generally focus on consistency rather than peak performance. Examples include a minimum number of profitable months, no breach of daily or overall drawdown, and steady payout history. Some programs also require continued trading within the same risk profile and instruments.

    Scaling Caps

Most scaling plans include a cap on the maximum virtual account size that can be reached, regardless of how long a participant continues. The cap protects the program's overall risk and helps maintain a sustainable structure. The specific cap and step size depend on the program selected.

    Risk Considerations as Accounts Grow

As the Qualified Account's virtual balance grows, position sizing in absolute terms may also grow even if percentage risk stays the same. Reviewing position size, exposure across correlated instruments, and the use of stop-loss orders can help maintain the same risk profile that supported earlier consistency.

    What Scaling Does Not Guarantee

Scaling is not automatic, not guaranteed, and not an investment return. It is a structured framework that may apply when the program's conditions are met. Past performance during the evaluation or in a Qualified Account does not guarantee continued eligibility, Participant Rewards, or future scaling outcomes.
